Look at the expiration date of each medication. Put any expired medicines in a zip lock bag. Also, put any unfinished medications for a previous condition in the bag. Please store the bag in a safe location away from children and pets until they can be properly disposed of.
You can drop your medications off at many pharmacies for safe disposal. Contact your pharmacy to see if they have a disposal program.
